I'll have to try and get on "Boogeycheck" again this year... I actually called in and got on last year with my hero John "Records" Landecker!
Hi everyone...it's been awhile since I've been here!
First up, here's the schedule for the day:
6a-9a.........Chuck Knapp
9a-12N.......Larry Lujack/Tommy Edwards
12N-3p.......Fred Winston
3p-6p..........Bill Bailey
6p-10p........John Records Landecker
10p-12m.....Jeff Davis
I was part of last year's support crew for the broadcast and ran the board for 9 of the 19 hours. Unfortunately, I am on the air on 106-5 The Arch here in St. Louis on Memorial Day 10a-3p (
www.1065thearch.com) so I can't make it to Chicago to help out again.
Everyone will be live in Chicago this time. Last year, Larry did his part via ISDN from New Mexico and Jeff Davis was in Los Angeles.
Also, take this one from me...I was schooled by JRL himself on this topic: Don't put quotation marks around his middle name! Records truly is his middle name (not a cute radioguy invention) and as such should not be in quotes. It's actually his mother's maiden name!
I miss North Texas...had a blast while I was there!
