Another Free-FM bites the dust! Can Phoenix be far behind?!?

The evening show on KZON has some sort of "war" going with Doug and Wolf. They have a video up on you tube of a "protest" they staged at the KTAR studios. If you read the comments, there are several people claiming Free FM's days are numbered. You can only assume the hosts on KTAR know of the flip and are either commenting on the video themselves, or having listeners do it. Way to keep it under wraps, KZON. See for yourself.

Again I will say it:

A show that no one cares about or listens to (on a station that soon will not exist) is pulling a cute little radio stunt against another show that no one listens to or cares about.

Sometimes I imagine what it must be like to be in their shoes...on a show that no one cares about on a station that will soon not exist.

I guess if I were in that situation I might be so bored and/or desperate that I'd pull a stunt like this, and it makes me kinda sad to think about that.

Then it dawns on me that maybe they don't realize that no one cares about their show, or that their station will soon not exist.

For some reason, that makes me smile.

Hilarious!! "It makes you smile????" So funny! Ive been in the valley for 18 years and I dont think anyone has made me laugh this much. I don't like or dislike either show being discussed, but you, Ford, and that gentleman above you clearly dont know anything about radio. Both of these shows are doing well in the demos they aspire to do well in. That would be MEN 18-54. Whether or not you like them is not important. We are here on a message board talking about these shows, while they are on the air. I can admit I wish I had their jobs, while you two fine fellows seem content to slander every talk radio show on the dial, do to your own inability toget your OWN show. Very amusing to read. Keep it up, I have a nice chuckle everytime you two post.

Now THAT is hilarious. I'm jealous? Sure, I wish I had me a night show with a whopping two share on a format that corporate is pulling the plug on nationwide. :

I suppose your standard for "doing well" and mine are just a bit different. Gather 'round the ratings book basinonians and take note of the 20th place programming.

Actually, whether we like the shows or not -IS- important, as that is the determinant in whether or not they stay on the air, RATINGS. It is good that you said "while they are on the air", because Big O and Dukes will soon find themselves FREE of a job, while Doug and Wolf will mediocre it up for some time still before people finally grow tired of gathering around the transistor radio dougless.

I don't "slander (sic)" every talk show host. I express my opinion, you presume too much about who I am. There are talents I appreciate in this market and many that I don't think are worthwhile. As for my "own ability to get a show", I wouldn't worry bout that if I were you, my show does quite fine where it is thank you very much. What time is your show on?
