No kidding! After they destroyed WAZY's large market sound, when Beau left, it's been inconsistant. No PD has been able to put it back on track. The only reason 96.5, Z-96 or whatever they're calling it today has any ratings is because B-102.9 sounds just as bad. Good luck, Dana.

I guess I wrote as if I was Dana...I'm not...but I've kept up with him over the years...just lost track of you, my friend. I WAS aware that Rick Barry was in South Bend. Chris Clare, last I heard, was still in Cincy.

You're on crack if you think WAZY is the best sounding CHR in Indiana. Also, even if one could improve on how WAZY sounded in early 2004 (nearly impossible), Artistic would still cut him loose, when the cash flow was low. Sorry, but it's the truth.

Okay, and just what is the Hottest sounding CHR in Indiana. And you better not say WNOU. Actually (Currently)WNDU 92.9 in South Bend is actually probably the best CHR overall in Indiana, but WAZY always was Bigger market sounding. I havent heard B-1029 lately, so I cant comment on that.

Maybe it was those 7 straight years at the top of the heap from '82 to '89...

Sounds like your experience with them was a little different than mine. They spent tons of money on new studios while I was there but treated the staff like insects. I didnt get to know Little A too well. He always seemed like it was a great inconvenience to have to deal with talent on any level.

Really? Last I heard Chris was in Denver at an 80's station....that was a while ago.
