This quite possibly could be my most narrowcasted post on RI, but I just have to throw this out to a handful of die-hard
radio VIPs who went to Tennessee Tech in Cookevegas. My daughter thought it would be worthwhile to check out Tech
as she'll be attending college somewhere in a year. So, of all the people still teaching --- Dr. Earl Hutchinson, the Journalism
Dept's Director and still in charge of Tech's student radio station WTTU... While the music has changed, the campus looks
a lot better than it did when I was there in the early 80's...dammit, all., it was a blast hearing Dr. H remind me off all the
things I managed to do almost a friggin' quarter of a century ago...seems like yesterday. He mentioned Jay Joyce, Steve Boots
and a handful of others from my era ... I just have to wonder ... some of you guys have to check RI out. Terry Mc? I know
you posted here a time or two. The the various classes of TTU early to mid 80's ... hi and hope you are well. Love to see a
post here. Hey!
The Joan Jett ALBUM we played 6 million times was still in the window of the lounge by the studio. What fun we had.
It was exceptionally great to see Dr. Hutchinson! Truly one of the best!
