Yup.
"We've got a big signal" is part of the pitch. I'm sure that's true in Redwood City, San Mateo, or anywhere else near the stick(s). Perhaps not quite so true in South Bay, East Bay, North Bay, etc. Daytime signal here in Napa Valley is so-so until about two hours before sunset, when it really starts getting torched.
The other thing CBS is up to in these parts is simulcasting KCBS on 106.9. Format flip somewhere here? I say this having been listening to KIRO in Seattle promoting the move of their news/talk to FM and the coming of all sports to 710. My understanding, however, is that KCBS is doing at least somewhat better than KIRO. (I definitely stand to be corrected on this).
