Great question. I have wondered that myself.
And, it's not like people are listening in their cars.
Oklahoma City, geographically, is a huge city, but virtually no traffic. You can go almost anywhere in 30 minutes.
It takes that long to get through the "High Five" (75 Central and LBJ) in north Dallas some days.
Frankly, KTOK is sad, but wins by default.
Imagewise, it seems WKY mimics KLIF in Dallas with the same success -- meaning no success. But to be fair, I have not heard a lot of WKY lately.
But you are right, OKC needs three talk stations like it needs two all-sports stations -- except during OU football season, then you need eight
