Arizona TV Station Update - August 2012

From recent past experience with the stupid cable company (Cox), I think you need
their digital level to get channel 90, as you do for several other ".2" channels they
carry in the 80s.

Analog subscribers seem to be out of luck. I guess we'll lose the channel 3 newscast
repeats also, when they're moved from 14 to 82.

Cox cable subscribers, rejoice! ThisTV KTVK 3.2 is now on Cox channel 90, I am told.

Eric, you might want to touch base with your contact at KTVK/KASW. Perhaps we could see Antenna TV in town after all?

I did and they do have things in store for their digital channels (with the possibility of Antenna TV). We'll wait and see.

One more thing:

Now that KAZT 7.3 has HSN (which shouldn't use that much bandwidth), how about them dropping the bit rate on 7.3 and bump 7.1 up a little? Not that "Jerry Springer" needs a crystal-clear picture to begin with, but it would help with the HD shows in the evening.

As of today 10/2, KGUN Tucson has added Antenna TV to 9.2, replacing the standard-definition feed of their station that was a temporary placeholder after dropping Mexicanal.

YEAH rejoice. I haven't had the TV on. Btw...still having issues with audio on KOLD 13.1. I have left unanswered comments on their fb page. I can't see it being my digital box since all other stations work fine. It is just strange. Otho I suppose it could just be me since nobody else is saying anything. I can't be the only person in Tucson watching them over the air. I have tried a;ll the possible trouble shooting with my box.
