Yeah what a feel good anthem! And their ratings have only gotten worse...so premature I think to just assume yanking dance was the solution. It must have tested well to start with it....?

If they were too scared of dance, maybe they should have gone in the direction of 93.9 MIA in Miami. It’s “90s to now” and is pretty AC’ish with rhythmic/dance tracks thrown in. I get that Miami is different, but maybe something like this could have grabbed some listeners from B98.5 that wanted an older and more rhythmic variety.

That "we play everything and mix it all together" doesn't seem to be working well for Star 94. It's hard to get retro-Rap to blend in well with CHR and Top 40 radio.
