While they did broadcast it.how many autos have HD tuners.I think some station as WSTR losing any way could find there element. As programming is not as much all of its the on air talent.
"WERE" was a radio station in Cleveland. I think you meant "where". Right?
So, where are they? They are not due yet. The June ratings were released July 8, so do the math.
And no, they are not on the 20th of each month. For Atlanta, they are on the same day of the week every 4 weeks. So each month, except for February, the date changes by 2 or 3 days backwards. Nielsen PPM books match arbitrary "months" that are not calendar months. They are 28-day periods, 13 of them.
National advertising wise, theirs(sic) a lot(sic) gold in the LGBTQ community some untapped by radio. And a station as WSTR going down, wouldn't in my thought have any thing to lose to try something along these lines.
Gender-based formats, going back to the "just for women" ones tried in the 70's, don't work because gender is not a taste-unifying quality.
I have gay and LGBTQ friends who like rock, others who like rhythmic, and some like jazz or classical or regional Mexican or oldies. The idea that gays just wanna' hear Village People is offensive.
And WSTR last year was the 4th highest billing FM in the market. Looking at shares (there are no "ratings" released to the public) during the Pandemic is not rational.
