ATLANTA THRASHERS MOVING TO WINNIPEG

On the contrary, the Tempe Marketplace site would have created another great event night for Mill Avenue restaurants AND it is two blocks from the Snail Rail so easy to get to as well.

I don't think ASU would have cared since their sports and the NHL don't have the same followers. An occasional conflict with ASU football could have easily been resolved.
 
Winnipeg just sold 13000 season tickets in three days for the former Thrashers. Did the Atlanta Thrashers even sell 13000 season tickets combined in all the years they were in Atlanta? All Winnipeg has to do now is pick out a team name and the uniform colors. Get those moving trucks ready.
