Atlanta Traffic Reporters

I was remembering what Ross and Wilson called "Nurse Nasal Nose" with "your MARTA Traffic Watch". Many stations in the metro carried the MARTA traffic watch before the traffic services existed.

680 The Fan still carries "Marta Go Patrol", but it's anchored by Paula Phillips-making it a Metro Traffic, IIRC.

That sounds like MARTA is just sponsoring it, instead of getting traffic reports from the bus drivers like they did in the Traffic Watch days.

Didn't WSB do their own traffic with the "Skycopter" back then (1970s into the 1980s)? IIRC it was the other stations besides WSB that used the MARTA Traffic Watch.

So, does anyone remember what Dave and Scott's honorary "rank" was when they were in the fling-wing? I seem to remember "Cap'n Dave" (early to mid-80's, right?), but was Scott just "rank-less"?
