Interesting story as Audacy licenses access to some local news & sports stations to SiriusXM. According to the article, Sirius will pay Audacy a license fee, and will get to sell advertising when users tune in (sounds like a pre-roll). Some may remember that at one time, a number of Clear Channel radio stations were available on Sirius, including KIIS and WHTZ.
