In an area where "Hot AC" stations sound more and more like Top 40 every day, and in a market where the target audience (very young people) are in the minority, it makes absolutely no sense to continue with this format which is a proven loser. We have plenty of stations in market and out that are essentially doing the same thing and getting far superior ratings. I just don't understand the reluctance of Press to arrive at the realization that this station is going nowhere and simply throw in the towel (ditto for Greater Media and Magic 100.1). The son of one of the owners was programming it the last time I checked, but I honestly don't think anyone could turn this station into something that people would want to listen to. Just drop it and go News/Talk, and watch the ratings increase exponentially.
