Brilliant...

If your original post was as thought out as this one I would have never said anything about it...

As for the door, i had no idea it exsisted, but im sure alot has changed in 9 years.

Regardless, continue posting threads/replies like this, and this board will become more enjoyable for everyone.

Thank you. But - isn't that you didn't agree with my opinion in the first place kind of like the FCC debate? We are radio people and we get banned from message boards because someone doesn't agree with our opinions? Isn't that what makes radio great is that its free and open? Shouldn't a message board?

These are questions for debate. They aren't fighting. When we say something on the air that someone doesn't like, do we HAVE to apologize? NO! Say what is on your mind or get out. When someone complains, does the PD need to call us in his office? No, he doesn't. When someone argues, isn't it more entertaining than hearing the voice tracker reading a liner card? Yes, it is.

Radio is missing free-thinkers. Radio is missing the teeth that it once had. I reiterate - MISSING THE FRIGGIN T-E-E-T-H it once had. Buildings are full of pencil pushers, not thought provoking pushers. They are full of bottom line thinkers, not top of mind thinkers. PD's are too busy trying to get free stuff and read e mail and mesage boards than to try to figure out creative ways to give away free stuff, return e mail, and create message boards for listeners.

You cannot superserve your audience when you treat them like you are 'serving' fast food.

Sorry to babble, but it makes sense.

Kramer
