Wonder why they won't go local Mon-Fri 6pm-10pm? LUV ake Flu Season (DuDU Crew) is a canidate. Gentlemen George, LUV and DJ G-Money are all on 92.5 The Box as well as BLAZIN 92.3/WLZN Macon, Georgia where Gentlemen George serves as PD/Afternoons.

He might be traveling back and forth between Charleston and Macon, but like Iceman said, I think they should let LUV aka Flu Season do the 6-10 Monday-Friday because it seems like the show would be better. Anyone Know if the Box is going to get a countdown show or a nite mixshow? I feel like thats what they are missing along with a 5 O'clock mixshow. They have the LUNCHBOX MIX at noon which has been sounding pretty legit i must say.

They air Live In The Den With Big Tigger Top 20 Countdown (Sundays 7am-10am) & 106 and Park Countdown (Sundays 10pm to midnight)

Both of them are voicetracked here in GA at Macon's BLAZIN 92.3, a Cumulus station. Gentlemen George is the PD and it's good to know he's looking out for his peeps.

THE BOX sounds a whole lot better, breaking all the new singles before Z93 (ie Rocko-Goin Steady, Nicki Minaj-Did It On 'Em, Flu Season- Thinking Bout You, Gorilla Zoe-What's Goin On, YC-Racks, etc.). ShawtyBlack, I suggest you check out the mixshows on the weekend.

I've never listened to 92.5 or Z93 really, but if Cumulus gets Citadel, I expect more bloodletting....that will probably be at 92.5 The Box's advantage.

I checked out the 5pm mixshow one day and DJ G-Money (also apart of BLAZIN 92.3 in Macon) was tearing it up! The weekend mixshows i've heard over the weekends were ok, but no live jock makes it dull. I wish they would do live broadcast from nightclubs too add some enrgy to Chucktown. Does the nightclubs down there still close at 2am?

@carloniaradio, you're right about the blood bath. I don't know of any Cumulus Urbans that have a live morning show and any live jocks after midnight. The Cumulus Urbans in Myrtle Beach (98.5 KISS FM) and Savannah(E93 JAMZ) both share the same jocks.

yes, the nightclubs still close at 2am. The BOX use to do live broadcasts from clubs (KUSH and Halligan's) but all that stopped right before DJ D-Nyce left. I don't even hear advertisements for those clubs on the station anymore.
