B98.5 Starting to sound... like an AC

Maybe it’s time to turn the Lite back on 94.9? I liked Peach/Lite 94.9 back in the day. I’m sure the soft AC format has changed drastically in 17 years. Would that format do better than what is on there now?

Compared to what we're used to here, yes. But, it's pretty normal with most medium and major market AC's. Complete with Delilah every night and 6 weeks of Christmas music during the holidays. Lol But somehow Atlanta's the only major market where this format doesn't work. It's literally like the eighth wonder of the world. 🤔
I think it (an AC) would work but they don’t have the balls to do it.

Depends on the station. Each Soft AC station is different, I’ve never seen two that look the same.
Even back in the day, Warm 100/99.7, B98.5, and Peach 94.9 were notably different, ranging from hardest to softest.

I think they should try AC again. There are some good signals (94.1/96.1) where they can put a quality-AC station on it and I bet it would get better numbers than the current stations.

Soft AC probably has the same PPM risks as Smooth Jazz.
