Okay people when I started this posting I only meant it to be for the CURRENT SAN ANTONIO market. No one cares about Joey D back in the 90's or Kiss in Dallas.

Oh and SANIGHTMAN must be a cox employee. It almost has to be cause of the large amount of beef with Fabien and 94.1... plus how could anyone think 106.7 night show is the best in the market?? I admit I havent heard their nightshow but I am guessing it is a bunch of kids calling.
 
Exactly where in your post does it say anything about the current San Antonio market? If you're limiting it to present day, then there's not much of the best out there. Unless of course you mean the best of the worst!!!!!

I love Austin radio, most of all the stations are great.
 
me too. Sure there are a few clunker stations, and Mix 94.7 isn't the same as it was in the 90s, but my fav. austin stations are:
KVET
101X
KGSR
Jammin 105.9
Magic 95.5
KLBJ
KOOP
I even like the River...I like how they call it a family friendly station instead of just calling it a Christian station. I wish San Antonio had some family-friendly stations, or replace Z 106 with a format like this.

I almost never get to listen to KOOP, but those others are great, I also really like KUT a lot, they are real local most of the time, they are also broadcasting in HD now.

for what? neither station ever does anything! z is the worst. kaja lets the music do the talking. there is not a whole lot of content. if you are saying that all the other stations suck for saying stuff and kaja and z are smart for never talking you might be on to something.

what is your fascination with 104.3? They are a terrible station. They have a terrible sound. They have terrible talent. And their ratings are terrible.

You must work there.

There is nothing creative about 104.3. I loathe 93.3, but accept that they are a far superior hip-hop station. That is why they dominate 104.3. No other reason. 104 has been back to hip hop long enough to pull more than their 2 share.

They are going to flip formats in the next 60 days. Mark it down.

I don't work there, I like to listen to that station a lot. I know its not how it once was, but it can come back if they put in a new PD and change it up a little, it may work. I hope they don't flip at all. At least they play some new and Ol' Skool Hip Hop and R&B all in one station instead of just the same ol 15-20 songs over and over like 93.3 Its 93.3 signal is one of the reasons why there ratings are higher and 104.3 is not.

signal has nothing to do with it. Listen to the station. Terrible morning show. Terrible imaging. Terrible processing. Its just a bad station.
 
Austin's Beat 104.3 really stinks. What the hell is up with their morning show? Is that bad or now is that bad?
