"BIG" change

Andrew, your profile says you live in Spokane. That is one hellava drive to listen to KGY. This was your first post too. Seems kind of fishy to me. How long have you been working for KGY? lol
 
Any radio owner that puts "live" personalities back on the air gets a "thumbs up" in my book. Now the quality of those personalities is always up for debate. The real worry as I see it is trying to modernize the Real Country format. Very dangerous in the country landscape. Folks who are digging Merle and Don Williams don't necessarily want to hear Shania and Faith Hill. Especially when there are two Seattle blow torches filling that hole. This will be interesting to follow. Unlike Q102 at least these guys are trying!
 
Fishy? Whatever: at least I use my actual name! I am a truck driver, and listen to a LOT of radio, so Tacoma/Olympia is nothing to drive/pass through!

Honestly, some of the big guns in radio could learn a bit from these local's that make real radio.
