I found this week's Steve Deumig shows laughable as he spends the last two years taking cheap shots on "liberals:" worrying that Myron Rolle would be "brainwashed with socialist claptrap" after becoming a Rhodes Scholar, calling Red Sox and Yankees fans "liberal cockroaches" who only come out of the gutters when their team is winning, and making occasional grouses under his breath about Obama. (His past homophobia is public record.)
But then comes this week and Carl Crawford leaving for Boston for $146 million dollars, and all of a sudden the Big Dog is in favor of a salary cap and worrying about four teams outspending the rest of MLB.
Big Dog, I hate to tell you this but this is what free market capitalism is. As a conservative, you should be happy that the Red Sox and Yankees are able to harness the power of an economic system you have supported all your life and reach the top of their business.
But if you want a salary cap, *gasp* that would make you a liberal because you would support price controls.
