I know FOR A FACT, and I have PROOF, of a certain radio person who has posted under fictitious names on message boards just to throw stones and rile people up. A few years back this person responded to an email of mine and went off on a tirade about a successful co-worker. This person "knew" me to a certain extent and trusted that I wouldn't make their opinions public, and I did not. Then, in a matter of weeks, I read an "anonymous" post on a different message board that was almost a word for word copy of the email this person had sent to me. Some of the specific phrases and terms used were so "original" or specific that any reasonable person would come to the conclusion that it was this person. I called this person out about it and they then obviously became hyper-defensive because they had been caught, and there has been no contact since.
Anyway, you have every right to post whatever you want, and rather than cowardly mocking you under fake names, they should no longer open up this thread when they come on the Jersey forum.

I apologize to YOU personally for what I said about getting a life...but my point was that my spell-check missed ONE word and you called me out for it. I deserved it I suppose after I mentioned that some people on this board spell like a 2nd grader and then missed ONE word out of hundreds. I must have added that word AFTER I spell-checked. I'm human.
So once again...I have had fun posting on this forum when it has been used to either educate, pontificate or correct mis-information.
I will continue to discuss radio in other places or personally at my email address.

Been a while since I've written anything of any length on here.
I have been VERY busy of late, setting up some very cool things behind the scenes on many different platforms.
Books, podcasting (soon) still on CBS-FM, and perhaps elsewhere soon.
I have had the luxury of TIME to reflect on the many things written about me on this board...and things I have written. All will be fodder for my forthcoming book. I want you to know how happy I am to be around to TALK about it all. Happy for the critisizms, and happy for the compliments.
I think the think that strikes me most is the never-ending LOVE for radio on this forum. It gets silly some times, and it gets VERY serious at others. But the thread that keeps it all together is trying to make some sense of what's gone ON in the biz during the last 5 years or so. Some
good---some not.
HUNDREDS of you have contacted me privately to tell me things or to let me know they get what I've tried to convey on here. Others have found fault...and that's fair game.
What I still can't grasp is why people feel the need to attack while cloaked. I know the rules of this board and I accepted them. I have had veiled attempts to discredit me to the point of much consternation. Other times I just consider the sources. But all in all, I want to thank the people who GET IT, and have made my last 4 years or so (of an almost living-hell) tolerable.
