Big News On JP Peterson And Dan Sileo

Hey Benarzyk, good to see up to your old tricks again! Here's the thing Marc, everyone who knows anything about this market knows about every bridge you burned. I'll give you this. You were better than Dan Sileo. Too bad being an asshole, prank calling other stations and emailing people under your many aliases has made it impossible to ever return to this market. Give it up dude. In the future, when trying to pretend your someone other than yourself, try and not use all the same catch phrases you used during your time here in Tampa.

Remember when you said you thought that one guy from Brighthouse Sports Network was talking badly about you in the Rays press box? It wasn't him. It was everyone.
 
Marc, I'm sorry. I should give you some credit. This is the first time I've seen or heard you bitch about Miami without saying anything racist or anti-semetic. Good job. Just curious, why is a guy who so highly sought after in Carolina? Tampa is a place for sports talk radio hosts to start out or die, so you left for Carolina? Yea, I buy that. You're so highly sought after you're doing exactly what you said you'd never do when you were the "best sports talk radio hosts, in the history of Tampa." Working as a co-host, in a smaller market, oh and with an alias. Congrats dude. I feel bad for your co-host who you're undoubtably stabbing in the back on a daily basis.

It sounds like the last couple people chirping in sure have an axe to grind with Bednarzyk/ James. Your so envious about your hatred for Marc it's oooozing out of the computer. If your still an update guy, reporter or former host now waiting tables don't hate on a guy for succeeding while you either stayed at the same job, got demoted or fired. Could you be an ex partner of Marc's or another sports talk show host on another station? Come on, if your going to criticize or bash someone at least have the guts to say who you are or where you work? Here's the facts. Marc is bring in ratings in Charlotte on one of the top sports talk stations billing and ratings wise for it's size in the country. What are you going to say when he ends up in a top five market or doing his own radio show on ESPN?

Spoke to an old sales colleague of mine yesterday. He currently works at WFNZ-AM (Marc James/Benarcyk's station). He told me that they are absolutely not doing better ratings than when Mark Packer was the host. As a matter of fact, he thought I was joking when I asked.

I asked him, what's their average share in afternoon drive is? He said, "they're lucky to get a 2 share." Plus, they're not selling the station any better with this current show either.

So, sorry to burst your bubble Mr. Talent Agent. But, whatever your "prospective client" is feeding you is a bunch of horse droppings.
 
Sports.com you got some bad info. You can say whatever you want. Your 100% wrong. The ratings don't lie. Your hatred for Marc James is oooozing out of the computer. The current afternoon show on WFNZ is averaging double what Mark Packer did on his best day. Am I shocked? I sure am. Mark Packer is a quality sports talk host. I just think they found two hosts that are talented and work extremely well together. What did this guy Marc Bednarzyk / James do to you that makes you hate him so much?
 
Hey Marc, are you really delusional enough to think that moving to a smaller market to sit second chair is "success?" Changing your name to James? Why would you do that if you weren't embarressed with what your real name says to people.

My favorite part of this whole thing, is that you continue to misspell your own name, the exact same way you did under your alias Jim Florio when emailing program directors around Tampa about how great you are. By the way, if nobody was nice enough to let you know, those emails were linked back to you by one of those stations IT staff. Every email, from every alias, all came from the same IP address as the emails you sent as yourself begging for an opportunity.

Damn I'm so envious of you.
 
Hmmm...always wondered what happened to the obnoxious half of the "Killer B's", and now I know.

Never forget the one time I actually listened to that show for longer than five minutes, and all Marc would talk about was how his interview with Jenn Sterger where she dissed Erin Andrews was featured on deadspin.com.

...as if getting name-dropped on deadspin was going to shoot him to super-stardom...
