On that you're absolutely corrrect. The news cycle will have moved on to the next disaster or political target-du-jour. No, I don't think he will gain
a lot of long-term listeners (now having found his show and satisfied myself that it's not all that entertaining). But he'll gain a few and every mention to Arbitron helps, even if just a teeny tiny tad.

His agent's best move would be to pull out all the stops to keep the flap going!
