Allaccess reports that the two of them are gone and that PD Jim Ryan will announce a new line up on later in the week. Another money saving move for CC?

I don't think so.

I hope that's not accurate. I don't get the appeal of her show.
JJ always did a great job, and most importantly she was live and local, as opposed to a syndicated show from Seattle, which more times than not gets too preachy.

Buchner and Kennedy are gone to save money, sure. But I can see the focus groups a month ago: "Can anyone tell me the names of the morning show personalities on Lite-FM?" When nothing but quizzical looks came back from cumers, that sealed their fate.

In fact, when Lite switches to x-mas music, they could keep the AC on for those who just don't want to hear holiday music, and build an established audience. They could throw in a few X-mas songs in the regular rotation but otherwise remain with an AC format and grab some Lite FM listeners.
I feel that Lite FM is in a much more vulnerable position than it would otherwise seem. Of course that's contingent on another station making a move.
