I believe WIBG (1020 AM) plays Wibbage jingles when they air oldies on the weekends.

WIBG

Now, here's a quirky lil station. They are mostly religious, but now they have an oldies show that pays "homage" to the heritage of the calls (though that is the only connection to one 990AM in Philly, that being in name alone) and Harry Hurley.

I'm sure if they were 24/7, they'd do the same as Salem in Philly with the play-by-play sports. The sales staff sees it as generating revenue, programming will point to listenership for an outlet those without the same views would care for, and the owner approaches it as "using a mass-appeal broadcast to spread the word of the Lord". I think WJNN/106.7 did this before they became the rebirth of legendary WDOX.

Nothing "lil" about WIBG1020. I listen everyday and they've got the best local and area
news coverage of any station in the South Jersey market. And for the programs: Hurley
knows the market. The station is much more than just the run of the mill South Jersey
automation station. They're doing live and local for real. Chuck Betson with live local sports
on Saturdays at 10 in the morning, along with Dan Klein South Jersey Insider at 1on Saturday.
And what I like is the "taste" of Wibbage from Philly with Bobby Emmons at 4pm on Saturdays
and the Classic Rock Program at 5pm with Don and Al. When I called the Hurley program
the other morning, I got dozens of calls from people who know me telling me they heard
me on WIBG. So much for "lil"

WIBG is not little at all! Yes they may be in a small market, but 1020 serves the community with local news, weather, etc. From what I hear they're doing very well in the $$ department. Good work WIBG!
