They are ALL entertainers if they're doing it right, and some will even admit it on the air. I've heard Savage say that although he intends to educate listeners, that it's mainly an entertainment show. Others, like Glenn Beck, are entertaining to some when they don't intend to be!! Steph Miller is almost always entertaining, although someone should do an intervention and take away her sound effects.

I wonder how much cash limpbaugh gets in some markets because who else would have the money to pay for him? in this economy?
In SF he went from knbr to ksfo because he (his syndicator) wanted to, more than ksfo wanted him, at least that was what Lee Rogerks said at the time.

Rush USED to be entertaining...before he bought into his own press. Seriously, there was no one funnier on the air in the early to mid 90s than Limbaugh. Then, he became blowhard...I have no axe to grind, but he lost his perspective years ago. Still has talent, though. Curious to see what he does now...as his ratings are not what they were (still solid though) and most of the press he gets is negative. However, I just watched a documentary on McCain supporters during the last month of the election. It's more than likely Limbaugh will have an audeince for awhile....
I haven't heard him at all in the last 7--8 years, but I know his ratings are still very high. I believe I heard that his show is the most listened to radio program in the world.
