Coyote's broadcast partners I can recall:

Y-107...Rhett Walker, Diana Lynn
Didn't they both pass away a few years or so

ago?

Thats news to me if they did.
When Coyote McCloud died a year or so ago, I thought I had read on one site that Rhett Walker was no longer with us, so I assumed that meant he had passed away. As for Diana Lynn, I thought she had gone to another station to work for awhile and word had come back that she had also passed away under mysterious circumstances a few years later. Or do I have confused with someone else? And NO, it is not Patty Murray from KDF that I have her confused with!!

I don't know about Rhett but Diana Lynn is alive and well and living in the Nashville area. She is out of the industry right now but she is very much alive.

As long as we're asking questions:

Is this Karla the same Karla who was co-host with Doug on the morning show on the Fish? I seem to recall that she was replaced by a woman named Kim, who was in turn replaced by Jaci Velasquez (the Christian music singer) after she (Kim) went on maternity leave.

Was Tammi Arrender ever co-host with Coyote McCloud on Oldies 96.3? I know that she was there for a while in the '90s, but I don't know if she was still there when Coyote took over the morning show there. I'm guessing that Nikki Courtney took her place. (Of course, this may have been during the time that Arrender moved back home to Louisiana for a while.)

I don't know the answer to your question, but I wish she was the co-host now. Doug is great, but I stopped listening after JV come on. She's pretty, but boy is she ANNOYING! Karla would be GREAT on the Fish.

Sort of... Karla worked with Doug Griffin at Way-FM as "Doug & Karla". She left and was replaced by Marcia Ware. "Marcia and Doug" were paired together for a few years, and then Doug Griffin left and was replaced by Doug Hannah. So, the show remained "Marcia & Doug", although the Doug had changed. It was practically a Dick York/Dick Sargent thing.

Doug Griffin is the Doug who went to The Fish (Doug Hannah is now at Mix 92.9 and SiriusXM), and hosted with Kim Bindel for several years ("Doug and Kim") before Kim left for maternity and Jaci Velasquez permanently took her place.

I may have one of the details wrong, but I don't believe Karla Lawson ever worked at The Fish. If I remember correctly, she went from Way-FM to Metro Networks (traffic) and then to Clear Channel, where she did traffic for The House Foundation for several years, before being paired with Billy upon Gerry's retirement.

At some point in all that moving around Karla Lawson was at 102.9 when it was power country..she worked with Coyote..I was there briefly and worked with them, Lulu, and others...I'm thinking around '94...

So it was one and the same Karla with a K who was with both Doug and Billy. Only she was with Doug at WAY-FM and not the Fish.

I agree that Jaci is a Latina hottie, but I can't comment on her on-air work, having never listened to her. I've always wondered why they are billed as "Doug and Jaci Velasquez" since we already know who she is. Using her last name gives the impression that they are a couple. His other co-hosts didn't use their last names. "Doug and Jaci V" or just "Doug and Jaci" would make more sense.

Jaci was recently the subject of a piece in the Nashville Ledger about what Nashville-area recording artists do (for a living) once their hit-making days are over. Apparently she enjoys being able to stay home more, and get home at midday, and spend the rest of the day with her kids.

Country Aircheck is reporting that Billy is leaving WSIX also for another CC position. I think he's done a great job and that he will have much success at his next station.

I'm curious as to what is going on there behind the scenes on Music Row?

Thanks Yorkie9! I've learned my lesson...never follow a legend. :) I should probably also change my username. Lol

Billy, first off, I don't know who would have been able to go in there after Gerry House. It was a tough mission. You and Karla were never given a chance to gel. Then comes "we need someone to give Billy some S**T." Really? So where was the co-host who never came to be. I have been shocked that they have left you hanging doing things solo all this time, when every other country outlet in town has a morning team....not just co-host, but team. You have handled it well. One thing's for sure, no one resides at 55 Music Square West very long.

Thanks for the reminder, DtotheJ ...I feel MUCH better! Lol
