Since the CFO was “just passing by,” there might be something to all of this. . . I suppose it will become clear in a few days. Someone else added that a number of tire kickers are out and about these days. Hopefully, they are not all rabid experts in budget cutting.
 
Possible, but unlikely.

Up here in the Cold Country, it's been rumored for over a year that Triad (Mississippi Media's parent company) is selling their Fargo cluster. It hasn't happened. The most likely reason is because the national economy is on life support right now. Nobody's buying anything.

Triad *did* divest their SMA from one Fargo station, but this was only because an FCC ruling required such divestiture.
