Whatever the reason, it's evident that Mad Dog was threatened by such a talented broadcaster and human being.
I truly hope Crockett is able to squeeze in a few on-air words...even if they are only "96.1 WSOX"
The York Dispatch indicated that Bob Rudy would comment, after seeking counsel from his lawyer.
A lot of people on this board know what it feels like to be dumped for stupid reasons. It's the nature of the beast. However, it does not mean that we simply forget the great ones. Bob did the remotes that no one else would do, because it involved volunteer work. He continues to be a key person in helping to protect animals.
With Mad Dog, he's protecting his job and that fancy home of his. We are left with his parodies and the same hysterical antics. We thought that the laughter between Rudy and Ovadia was genuine...once again lied to by the big bopper we call "radio broadcasting".
And in the end, the listener is left out and walks away with something less.
