As for 97.1, I still think it's signal is stronger in the right places than 92Q and could help C-rum increase
92Q's numbers a bit. Other than that, Scott needs to track down 102.5's old transmitter and get it's
signal back to where it was a couple of years ago. It just cuts out way to much. That may be a reason
for such dismal numbers. The River and Beat saw no issues from it. By the way, hats off to CC for managing
to pull those stations up together without hurting each other.
As for a format for 97? May I suggest that whatever they choose ... called it F-97. Obviously for format #97.
Speaking of F's ... Hats off to the Fan for inching up to a full number. Nothing like a hard fought good finish
during the peak of the format for a year. What mountain will it try to climb next?

It's obvious that terrestrial radio is dying, not just in Nashville, but all over the country. We can thank Cumulus and Clear Channel for that.
The reason why "Jack" is doing so well is because it gives you a "taste of XM, Ipods, and soon to come, Internet Radio", which we will be able to even receive on our cell phones! I would say in 10-15 years, the religious/church community will start to dominate the AM & FM band. Grace Broadcasting will own over half of the FM's of Nashville, the secular audience will be gone! O.K, so what if my prediction of terrestrial radio, gets the old farts all stirred up.
The only format left for 97.1 is Adult Urban. I realize it's on 92Q, but people are tired of Tom Joyner and Doug Banks during the week, and the "weekend" programming on 92Q is what I call the "weakend" programming. The Party stinks, sounds too much like 101.1 and is splitting the Hip-Hop audience. WSM-AM will move on to XM and if we could get "national numbers" on WSM-AM, I think you would see it is fine and well, and will be here way after we are dead and gone, it will just be on satellite. The Rock plays the S.O.S. over and over, when will it die? The Wolf can't decide if it wants to be a country station or a classic rock station.
I don't know, I'm just rambling on????????
Tibbs, why do I need to find 102.5's old transmitter site? Any old gear out there? ???

It was Sebastian that we made fun of, not the product. He's an excellent programmer, just takes himself WAY
too seriously. And though I've heard things are better now, he wasn't much of a people person in previous situations.
I have a friend that had a physical altercation with him at KZLA. However, the facts are this:
Sebastian rolls in...makes drastic changes (for the better)...the station improves. John then moves to the next challenge,
and usually the station returns to previous levels. Sure like him to stay at a station for two years or more and see what happens...
