BOOM BOOM POW!

OOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!! 10,000 songs in a row is more than ryan seacrest's botox injections...NNNNNNIIIIIIIICCCCCCEEEEE!!

If they lean any more Rhythmic they might as well be tagged rhythmic.

Who ARE they going after? Just Z? Seems like with DMX and Sir Mix Alot being Spun. Are they trying to lure some from Hot97 as well

Boom Boom Pow is on Hot97 quite regular too.

Now's first screw-up: during lady gaga's "Just Dance", a big jump from the beginning to colby o'danus's part.

They probably pull their music from 1 central server like all the CC stations do.

I think that version of the song Is meant for rhythmic formats.

Some songs are Switched up for certian formats.

The opening "talk" on some songs is removed for Top 40 and Hot AC formats

Good Example is TI and JT Dead and gone.

Urbans will keep the TI talk in the beginning and Remove the JT Chorus and play the 1st TI Verse

Some Rhythmics will Remove the TI talk and Start Right with the JT Chorus.

I think that is the case for Just Dance

Seems like the Rythmic version of the song.

UPDATE!

Just heard Just Dance again.

It appears it doesn't jump right to Colby O' Donis anymore.

After hearing Dead and Gone they Removed the TI talk from this station as well.

you know, the whole time I am hearing NOW, they haven't repeated "boom boom pow" by the Black Eyed Peas.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this but that's clever imaging on the music player. It has a CD with the letters NOW 92.3

Very similiar to the popular CD serious NOW that's what I call music.

I guess because it's a new station - or perhaps if it's a brand new song - the player will show that format image.

All of the CBS stations have such an image on their display, usually during commercial breaks. So expect to see more of that "CD" on your Now player starting next month. ;D
