The website radioinsight reports The Breeze may be flipping formats soon. To what is not known but several domains were put online. They come up radio1071.com and others. What could it be rock, talk or variety hits?

Barry said:InsideRadio has an article that provides information about the direction of the station from Press Communications GM Rich Morena.
He indicates it will remain an A/C. The playlist will be trimmed from around 1,500 songs to only about 500. The music will sound more contemporary. Morena said this is based on listener research.
I hope that sister station Thunder Country, which is an interesting listen due to its rather large playlist, does not become a cookie cutter country station with less variety.

islanddxer said:It's just pathetic. You'd think the area would be able to support a full time gold/AC. Shore radio is only worth listening to when 101.5 is playing music on weekends. CBS-FM's signal is sketchy due to WBEB in the area. I just dont get how this Monmouth-Ocean market can support so many Hot/AC stations that sound so much like eachother, you got 94.3 The Point (which used to be more Adult Alternative eons ago), Magic 100.1 (boring, bland, bring back JRZ), 92.7 WOBM (better on weekends but how much Call Me Maybe can you take?), and now Radio 107.1. Perhaps Press wants to shed listeners for sale of their radio stations? It's a perfect opportunity for Greater Media to take Magic in a more gold based direction, but that wont happen.![]()
