Gar, I tend to like your posts...but I have to respectfully disagree...a lot of these comments ARE necessary as they are just plain sarcasm...and sarcasm is the life-blood of radio. :)

Plus...it's just fun to get under Shitman's skin!!

Agreed, sarcasm is the lifeblood of radio. Just looking for another big word to throw around. :p Of course, I'm old enough to remember when the life blood of radio was gin. And at that time it was illegal to have an alcoholic drink in a live control room. Or at least that was what the GM said as he poured himself a stiff one. Which may be the last time any GM had a stiff anything, except maybe a knee or spine. (And it also may have been the last time a GM had a spine to be stiff.)

Well, I don't about GM's, but I can tell you that the on air people feel like they are getting something stiff every two weeks in the form of a paycheck right in the...well...you know ;)

Does anybody know why they canned him? Do they have a replacement?

Apparently Yourchek is of the "fool me once" school. Sumereau's replacement (victim) is still innocent of his eventual doom.

LOL. Forever has to be the most ironically named company in the world. Forever, my fanny, it should be named "Until." To mark the first moment the big money boys call and question where the retirement dollars are?

Yes, I heard that Yourchak is now a big NO. Smart move.

For whom? Forever or Yourchak? ;)

Hello! Sumereau not bu-bye.
Word on the street is that two former (not ALL, just most recent) Forever GM's are working together. Selling B and WOWY. Could this prove a rift in big (owner) picture? No matter, this could make 2510 a more credible option for the disgruntled SC radio customer. Time will tell. Good luck guys!

I still find it amazing that the FCC has never said anyting. 2510 and Forever IMO are one in the same. Nick Galli, who is owner of 2510 is STILL LISTED as controller for Forever/Keymarket. So why if all are not really one group would he be allowed to do the book work for another group when it would be competition? Know what I mean? ;)

Sumereau didn't sign a non-compete, and really got screwed over. This is not good news for Forever. Add stupidity to malpractice. Looks like Galli sees opportunity.
