I still turn up the volume when Dusty Springfield's "I Only Want to Be with You" comes on. Ditto for Marvin and Tammi's version of "Ain't No Mountain High Enough."

OK, now you've really done it! I bought that new, and it's been wierd for years....but still appealin.

Now I hafta dig out the 45 and put in in the airplay.

Re: Dress:

It looked good when we did, back then. Still looks better to me than .....oh, most fashions derived since
"Super-Size Me" was coined, back when nobody carried around a TREMENDOUS GULP at all times.

Like men's shorts that are mid-shin.

Back then, if you wanted water, you carried a %$#@! canteen. Or thermos.

Now the wimmens'es fashion that a whole 'nother trip. They need some A/C, I think.
 
The Ronnie Spector hair pieces (falls) were a trip too, especially when the one lock of blonde came out and brunette women were wearing the skunk look. ROFL

I think we probably wouldn't trade any of those times for what is around today.
