I beg to differ with the "bug". The Michael Phelps analogy is does not apply here - for several reasons:
1- There is no margin of error in an Olympic timer - a win is a win, but is radio, the error could be three points either way. It is not even a close comparison.
2- In the Olympics, it is about winning the gold medals. In radio it is about making money. Sure, money will naurally flow to Phelps, but that was not his primary motivation.
3- Money will go to Phelps because he won EIGHT gold medals not because he beat a competitor by .1. (since Wolf and TQR finished 4th and 5th respectively, they didn't win ANY medals).
3- Phelps beat ALL of the competitors in the race, Wolf did not.
With all due respect to eyewitnessnews, a win is not a win when it comes to the radio business. Real question is can you make money with it. I will give you this - Wolf has done better than any previous challenger to WTQR. Just don't get caught up in the celebration too long.
