Canadian series in the United States

Alanis was only on You Can't Do That on Television for 5 episodes.....

Nobody that had children in the 1908's has mentioned The Elephant Show, a morning staple on Nickelodeon
I had children in the 1980s and 1990s and yes, I do remember The Elephant Show under a few different names and formats.

My kids loved The Elephant Show back in the late 80's. We actually took them to see Sharon, Lois and Bram when they did a U.S. tour circa 1990. What I remember of the show was that the trio seemed slightly cranky, presumably from the grind of appearing night after night in front of a few thousand screaming children.

I can only confirm that Private Eyes has been cancelled. I'm not sure about the others.
Private Eyes has finished its five season run on Global TV in Canada.

The first two seasons aired on Ion TV here in the U.S., while the third season was on Ion Plus when it was still an OTA subchannel. I haven't been able to determine where (or if) seasons four or five are airing in the U.S.

I know when I looked at the guide Transplant started season 2 on NBC in March
NBC aired the first seven episodes of the second season of Transplant on Sunday nights, drawing lousy ratings. The remaining six episodes were relegated to Saturday night burnoff. While the show has been renewed for season three on CTV in Canada, I doubt NBC will bring it back. Since NBC Universal is a distributor of the show, it might wind up on USA Network or Peacock.

I found out that Freevee (Formerly IMDB TV) has a 24/7 Corner Gas channel on their Live TV channels, similar to what is being done with The Red Green Show on the Roku Channel.

Qubo used to show a lot of Canadian shows. I liked Being Ian and Spliced. As a kid I used to watch the TVO imported shows on PBS. Here's How, Take a Look, The Science Alliance, You Can Write Anything, Eureka, and Bookmice/the magic library. The TVO show I loved the most was Today's Special.

The only 2 that I remember watching, that you mentioned, were Take a Look & the Magic Library. I also remember the shows Read All About It & Zardip's Search for Healthy Wellness, both of which were TVOntario shows as well. I remember seeing these shows on PBS stations KMOS-TV, Ch. 6 in Sedalia\Warrensburg, MO & KCPT-TV, Ch. 19 in Kansas City, MO, back in the 1990's.
Another website that talks about "Read All About It".

I can only imagine. It must have been shows combined from that tour that were released on VHS around 1990 if I'm remembering right. That was my first exposure to them.

Don't forget King of Kensington. It aired on Metromedia and possibly other stations in the US, IIRC in the late 1970s or possibly early 1980s. You absolutely cannot find this show anymore, not on DVD, not on YouTube, not on Amazon, nowhere. It was a good show, and very Canadian. One episode featured a young Mike Myers as selling something for a Boy Scout-like group.

How about the Ready Set Learn shows on TLC? Most of them were Canadian, with 2 of them coming from CBC's Radio-Canada network(They were dubbed into English!).
