can't believe Mike said that

I have a radical idea: if you don't like what was said, don't listen. You can even email the station to tell them why you have stopped listening.

I'm not for censorship. They can say what they want and the audience should decide whether to listen.

Not to single out your reply (as others had similar remarks) but I disagree. I can't speak for BenB but I didn't make that assumption at all. Let me suggest that had he worded it a little differently maybe there wouldn't be any misunderstanding. Try this: "someone would have to report it for it to become an issue with the FCC."

Thanks, JD. You do indeed get it.
Ah yes! Now it makes sense. I apologize, BenB. I was reading it as, Someone HAS TO report it..." interpreting it as you were saying "someone NEEDS TO report it..." Sorry about the mix up. I was about to get a little carried away with my "It's not one of the 7 dirty words, so let it slide" commentary. And thanks for clarifying jd.

Woah, woah, woah. If they stop listening to something they don't like, they'll have to find something else to be unhappy about. That's just crazy talk.

And what's being addressed in this thread is far from the worst thing I've heard said on The Ticket.

Must be contagious at Cumulus because I can't believe what Brian Estridge said on Monday morning. He said Obama's favorite ice cream is Oreo Cookie.

ONE THING:
is "frustrating" / annoying...when (since it is dallas, and
you are listening w/ your kids) about the cowboys,
and something comes out of NOWHERE - that is
always more difficult to use the argument if you
don't like > then don't listen, as it wasn't something
like Howard101 or Opie and Anthony... it is on
"regular" radio where a Surprise may shock u ..
It is different when you are expecting the unexpected but
not when the unexcepted sneaks up on u -

"just saying"

I always thought the bad joke was for Halloween, he was going just put on a white belt, and go as an oreo cookie.
