Hi
My wife and I were at Cape San Blas, FL (that's that jutting out cape south of Tallahassee) on July 1, from about 3:30 to 6:15 pm EST. We could not go earlier, as we went to morning church service in Panama City. and also had buffet lunch there.
Also, I totally forgot to being the Select-a-Tenna I had!! However, thankfully, Radio Shack was clearing out their Grundig Loops ($15), and I may have snatched the last one there!
Because we could not stay longer, I spent time on what I felt were the most interesting frequencies....
530 R Enciclopedia decent
540 WFLF
610 WVTJ Pensacola, but 620 IBOC was all over it!
620 WDAE strong
640 R Progreso
690 WIST mixing with Progreso, no sign of WOKV
710 a mess!! likely all the Rebelde's, but WNTM (assumed, conservative talk) squeaked in
740 was trying for Houston, but got Braves baseball (Montgomery AL I guess)
790 likely was WPNN Pensacola
820 I think Largo (Tampa) was strong
870 WWL strong, natch
910 R Metropolitana (Havana) assumed
940 WYLD
950 R Reloj
1000 WYBT Blountstown (I think I was trying for something else!)
1020 R Artemisa, Cuba
1030---for the second time, I tried for KCTA in TX, but I think the thing went off the air on me! No ID heard (but see last entry)
1060 Radio 26, Cuba
1080 R Cadena Habana, Cuba
1140 likely Cuba, but I did not hang around
1180 assumed Rebelde mess
1280 WODT assumed
1330 WEBY assumed
1350 WSMB assumed
1380 WWMI Radio Disney (any others on 1380?)
1420---odd---WBRD Bradenton, but also a horrible tone, like a TIS testing or something---no idea
1450 Pensacola & Sarasota duking it out
1600 KLEB in La., but also WKWF when nulled
1620 Rebelde(s) assumed in WNRP null
1660 WCNZ The Avenue, Marco Island FL but choppy satellite audio, however smooth announcements
1680 WLAA
1700 KVNS Brownsville TX! Mention of their website classic1700.com , this was 3:45pm or so
Glad I tried 1700 first!
