NBC use to air music videos on Friday nights back in the late 90's and early 2000's. I forgot the name of the show that use to air Mon thru Thurs at 1:30am

Yep. "Friday Night Videos".

As for the 1:30 show, I believe that was "Later with Greg Kinnear". Went through a number of hosts after he left before Carson Daly took over. The current format of "Last Call" is hip, simple, has some decent new bands on it, and most importantly, it is ridiculously cheap.

LOL yeah for us who didnt have cable I guess you can call it our video fix for the week. I actually use to like NBC late night programmig during that era. Friday Night Videos, Saturday nights Classic SNL and Showtime at the Apllo. Now all gone

I think Big Boy's Neighborhood is the best. I did stumble upon KAMP's morning show, and... that wasn't my cup of tea. Not sure about Carson Daily or KIIS mornings, though. Big Boy just has a great, hype, active morning show format, style, and presentation.

Yeah KAMP and KIIS morning shows are targeted towards women. Not sure if Big Boy is live since his show is now syndicated it might be custom made for KPWR

I think it's made custom for KPWR and syndicated. I remember back when it was syndicated on KNRJ Arizona's Classic Hip Hop station, my friend at KNRJ Phoenix and I would hear the exact same things when I was listening in L.A. from Power 106 and he was listening to the feedback on air at KNRJ in Phoenix. The only things changed were when the station ID's for L.A. were blocked out on KNRJ, and during the pre-mix commercials on KPWR, KNRJ had a ten minute mini old school mix.

While I did enjoy Big Boy on KNRJ while I was in Phoenix, I always thought it sounded out of place on Arizona's Classic Hip Hop station. You got modern hits & hip hop all morning, then the rest of the day was classic hip hop. I never understood why KKFR Power 98.3 never just took the Big Boy syndication instead of KNRJ since it specifically fit their format! Well, KNRJ finally dropped Big Boy, and KKFR did end up (once again) getting a new morning show as well (instead of syndicating Big Boy, which probably would've made more sense. KKFR just can't seem to find a morning show and keep it. They might as well just use Big Boy.

Alot of stations dropped Big Boy after Citadel Media stop syndicating the show. Dial Global carries the show but not alot of affliates. His show was dropped in New York City on Hot 97 and New Orleans on Power 102.9.

sorry - i didnt know NOR Care
