The station would have been much better if the selections were similiar to JACK, but just add the 50s, 60s and 70s.
btw - the reason people are complaining is because they are saying the station is back. It in fact did not come back and we are being sold a false bill of goods. The station sounds more like WABC-AM in the 70s disco period but certainly not CBS-FM.
As someone else said here the playist reeks of mediocrity.

For me, there's not much that is "classic" about the music I grew up with, in comparison to the classics of the 60's & 70's anyway. I loved the 80's when I was a teenager IN the 80's because it was MY generation's music, but now, that music doesn't do much for me when I compare it to the real classics, or better said, when I hear it played amongst the real classics.
Now conversely, if I'm listening to a "Mix" type station, I enjoy hearing stuff from the 80's. I guess it's because, to me, the "sound" of the 80's music fits in much better with the sound of the 90's and the current tunes. So I'm in the camp of wishing CBS would dump the 80's titles as well.
