Presumably, if 92.3 were to acquire the rights to CSU basketball or Monsters/Blue Jackets hockey, that will also leave nights free for Ken as well.

Andy has been doing the updates under the auspices of his TV job, and is not in the building with the Maxwell Show or any predecessor show. He'll be in the studio next door in the Halle Building starting Monday...

A little birdie just told me that Andy Baskin's co-host will be a very familiar name...here's a hint:
"Whoop-dee-doo Sports Review"!
Also, the new 6 a.m. - noon sports anchor will be a familar voice...here's a hint:
"Let's all get drunk and play ping-pong!"
And it looks like Adam the Bull's new co-host is somebody that...well Aaron Goldhammer would appreciate too much...here's a hint:

Jeff Thomas announced his move to the Fan on Thursday. He's doing his last show on WEOL/930 presumably at this moment.
It'll be interesting to see how Andy and Jeff Phelps mesh as talk show co-hosts.
I'm hearing the full lineup, including weekends (7 AM to 7 PM per Adam), could be announced today. Watch the 923thefan.com website and the station's Facebook presence.

What is this weekend lineup DSN revisited? They can't possibly be serious. Ken Silverstein is horrible, Joe Lull is average at best and Kendall Lewis was never good to begin with. :

Chuck Booms won't last 6 months

If I were Rover, it would be a good idea to step up my game NOW, lest his "victory" against Maxwell be short-lived. Unlike Maxwell, which was doomed from the get-go, "Kiley and Booms" soon could become a major headache if he isn't careful.
We all know "Mike and Mike" on WKNR hasn't a prayer.
Which of the two producers has the honor of driving Chuck Booms to work every day? If it snows does Booms decide to just sandbag the day and not show up like he did at DSN. Booms will be gone by years end. Nobody learns with that guy. He is an impossible talent to work with.

Uhh... couldn't his falling out with DSN be because of... I don't know... the fact that Harry P. and company couldn't find their way out of a paper bag? Let alone fail to pay staffers for prolonged periods of time, if ever?

But this isn't DSN, a quasi-amateur operation. This is radio's big time, a high-profile station owned by a major corporation. I'm sure Andy has heard of Booms' rather interesting career reputation, and will basically read him the riot act if he falls off the wagon.
And maybe Jeff Thomas is ready to fill in for Booms if he doesn't show up for work some days.
BTW, that weekend schedule is up in the air a bit. I'm hearing that Anthony Lima, the artist known as SportsBoy Tony in his youth, could add a weekend show to his M-F afternoon update duties.

In 2011, when most stations are looking to cut live people from their staff...isn't it refreshing that CBS is investing in this new format with a large, live, local staff?
Sure, sportstalk is a spoken-word type format, so you have to have people on the air. But, syndication is available and using such is widely used by many, many stations so that they can save a few bucks with a much smaller live staff.
