Here's the Dallas paper's article:http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcon...tories/050506dnguideinnertube.a5b809d.htmlCBS strikes up a new band10:59 AM CDT on Thursday, May 4, 2006By ED BARK / The Dallas Morning NewsInnertube is on your computer.CBS launched a new broadband channel Thursday, promising a lineup of original series made exclusively for the Internet. Available through cbs.com, Innertube initially will stream three new cheap-to-produce shows daily, with a new program premiering each day as part of a rotating schedule. The site also will accommodate "encores" of episodes from CBS' prime-time lineup as well as series "that didn't reach a mass audience, but have a loyal, passionate following that lends itself to Internet appeal."Original programming scheduled to premiere this month includes:•Greek to Chic, described as a "college makeover series."•BBQ Bill, a scripted sketch comedy series starring Rick Najera (Mad TV).•Animate This!, humorous events in celebrities' personal lives are turned into narrated cartoons.•Beyond Survivor, a behind-the-scenes look at the long-running reality hit.CBS also has a slate of Innertube programming being developed for this summer. Among the attractions:•Inturn, in which aspiring young thespians endure a "soap opera boot camp" in hopes of being cast on CBS' As the World Turns.•Hook Me Up, a "unique twist" on on-line dating.•Repurposed episodes of the failed CBS reality series Fire Me...Please.•The Green Room, a "somewhat irreverent look" at CBS programming.•Showtime Shorts, a selection of "quirky and comedic" short films that first aired on the premium cable channel.Nancy Tellem, president of the CBS Paramount Network Television Entertainment Group, envisions Innertube as a "content playground where new talent and ideas are discovered, and proven talent can bring their passion projects."

I checked it yesterday and there were only a couple of shows posted so far. Surprisingly, the video quality was really good. CBS is still using Real Video even after most of the other sites have switched to Windows Media (ugh) or Flash. But the 'Greek to Chic' show was basically a 13 minute commercial for Dr Pepper and Chili's.
