Democratic city is irrelevant. There are plenty of people in the deepest of blue or red cities who have the other viewpoint. And then there's that little thing called the suburbs.
Top radio stations still attract less than 1 in 10 people in most cases. There's plenty of room there for conservative radio in a liberal city.
And commercial are, and long have been, run for the benefit of the real customers. And that's not the listeners. The listeners are the product. Always have been.
Running the station like the "old" 1210....hmmm, maybe there's a reason why the old 1210 is no more.
