CBS owned CW affiliates to drop CW affiliation and go independent

Potential outcomes for the affected markets (I'm not good in predictions tho but probably):

KLWB might be the right outcome for Acadiana region and probably if Hearst, Gray, Tegna, or Sinclair might enter the market.

Tegna's KTTU or Gray purchases the Spanish stations of either Telemundo or Univision. KWBA might be either carrying ION or follow the same format of KASW despite the Coyotes moving to SLC.

In SLO/Santa Barbara/Santa Maria, either the Univision or the Telemundo station and as a smaller market either Nexstar, Hearst, Byron Allen, Tegna, Gray, or Sinclair enter there. Ion might mostly replace CW on channel 6.2.

In South Texas; the Univision affliate might be the target for Nexstar, Gray, Hearst, or Byron Allen. Although Scripps has an LMA for KZTV as part of KRIS, Ion might be affliated on both the low-powered KDF and channel 6.2.

WSKY 4 might be the target, Inyo owned Ion station (in case Ion moves to WGNT), or Sinclair's WTVZ. If Nexstar drops Fox on WVBT for CW; either WSKY 4, Ion Norfolk, or WTVZ might be for the FOX hunt.

Despite the battles with WADL, the probable outcome will be Hearst, Gray. Sinclair, or Tegna might enter Detroit to buy WADL. I could throw in Graham to make a duopoly with WDIV. Inyo owned Ion Detroit might be the second choice even if Scripps is yet to take most of the regional sports rights from Bally/Sinclair for WMYD.

Miami might be the toughest especially I don't count Paramount's WBFS. But Scripps and Paramount might be looking at selling their secondary stations in duopoly espectively with both Ion & CBS owned and operated stations. Tegna, Gray, Sinclair, or Hearst might be looking into Miami (and I could throw in WPLG if they make a duopoly).
I think KTAS in San Luis Obispo/Santa Maria/Santa Barbara Market might end up becoming the new CW affiliate either Nexstar, Hearst, Byron Allen Media, Tegna, Gray or Sinclair might possibly end up getting KTAS since Telemundo affiliate moved to KCOY that's another option for KTAS to become the new CW affiliate in the San Luis Obispo/Santa Maria/San Barbara.

This is not a site for just randomly posting speculation like this.

the CW will once again be changing channels in Detroit Mission's purchase of WADL is still pending FCC approval
The FCC has already ordered Nexstar to undo their LMA of WPIX and for Mission to sell that station. What in the wide wide world of sports makes you think they'll approve Mission's stillborn purchase offer of WADL? Let alone Nexstar having any interest in that station now after Kevin Adell acted like the fool he is?
It should've have Graham instead to make a duopoly with WDIV.
Let's be real here. Adell will likely sell WADL in a bankruptcy distress sale to Daystar or some other Godcaster. It's barely worth $7.5M, let alone the $75M Mission thought it was.

Nexstar has a lot of options to sell some stations to allow room for WPIX. Gray, Tegna, Sinclair, Hearst, Graham, Byron Allen, and many more might be open buy them. Byron Allen even attempted then approach Scripps to buy some of their small market stations along with Tegna.

Nexstar is not a company that willing sells stations. They've only done that once with KBTV in Beaumont a full decade ago. So that's not a serious option.

Byron Allen always talks a good game but never closes a deal.

They just sold WJMN Escanaba (Michigan UP) so they do sell.
It is the MyNetwork station there (was the CBS until 2 years ago). They sold to new company (Sullivans Landing) but will be run by Morgan Murphy Media (they own the ABC and CW in market…WBUP and WBKP)

Tegna can make a duopoly at some point either WLLA or WTLJ and they can pick up MNTV or a simulcast with WZZM, not surprisingly that the ION station ended up to INYO than make a duopoly with WXMI. West MI has 9 stations (not counting a semi-satellite of WGVU).

WXSP has MyNet TV since day 1 I doubt that TEGNA will buy another TV Station. Yeah, I was surprised that Scripps didn't buy WZPX to make it a sister station to WXMI Fox17.
