CC cuts deeply into Fox Sports Radio

Hey JT - I mean Real deal - you obviously have no clue about this business and everybody on this board knows who you are.

Keep drinking or smoking whatever you are. You, and all in radio know the only reason you weren't blown out with the rest of the Fox Radio shows is you have too much time left on your contract and they didn't want to buy you out. Most of the people fired are 10x more talented than you but you luckily got a new deal and CC didn't want to eat it, so count yourself lucky.

You also know Don Martin now HAS to carry you in LA and that's the only reason you "added" am570. If you were so good, how come they did everything in their power before not to air ONE SECOND of your show in LA? Even when they put Bruno on back in September, they wouldn't even run your last hour from 10 to 11 and instead ran a "best of" interview shows so you wouldn't be on until Ben Maller at 11pm.

So get a clue, stop blowing your own horn and realize you are lucky and not good. The Bruno bashing about burned bridges is so tired. If he burned all of his bridges, why is he on ESPN, Clear Channel and Sporting News stations? You only survive because you work for a cheap company that is only looking for ways to get rid of people, not do better radio.

Think Dan Patrick needs ESPN to make 7 figures? He and Bruno work for the same company the last time I read. Content Factory seems to be run by radio people, not bean counters trying to make money for investors by destroying a company. Make sure you invest wisely. That fat deal you have will end soon and you'll be like most radio hacks: out of work and begging some local station to hire you in that insignificant shift you work.

The new guy at Fox will be thrilled to work with J.T. Management loves him because he works his tail off and is on real radio stations. The radio world has changed and your boy is out. I like listening to Patrick, Bruno and J.T. No matter who is left standing, the game has changed and you will be on this board complaining about the next crew that takes over. You think the Factory has money to pay any radio hosts?

This is comical JT. The management is going to be thrilled to work with you? This is getting good.

My point exactly. These "bomb throwers" are out of their minds. They can't deal with any change or new business decisions in sports talk. I love it!

I'm not sure it means a whole lot, but as an avid listener of sports talk radio who works the night shift, I hate to see Andrew go from the Fox lineup. I enjoyed his work and although he could come off as a bit of an ass at times, he gave viewpoints that were well designed.
I gave JT a shot for about a month and periodically check in on his show from time to time, but I don't care for the constant banner towards his listeners to call in for their opinions...seems to kill the show for me...
I find myself downloading the Dan Patrick show on my MP3 player and listening to it before Jason Smith starts his show on ESPN. I didn't like Jason at first, then really came to enjoy the work he does. There are too many breaks, but I suppose as a one man band, those are probably well deserved. He entertains me.
I'm a big fan of Bruno and I agree that a show built entirely around sports can leave one "pigeon holed" on what they present. Is the rumored Bruno show on IPOD yet?
