I am a former WQFE (Brownsburg) employee.

Me, too....the very first voice on that frequency...I did all the corny liners that were run the week or two between songs before they began their regular schedule.

Hey maybe Jay Baker could do it! No? OK, how about Adam Ritz? Oh, ok, well how about Danno?

Is former WHHH morning personality Cindy Wine still in radio?

Whoever they put on that morning show, I guarantee it will be someone that Indianapolis has never heard of. Scott Roddy has madde himself the "star" of that station (he's on their billboards, he's on their direct mail - which I just got earlier this week - and he's all over their website homepage) and he's not going to hire someone that's going to outshine him. So that means no Pidge. No Moto. No Jay Baker. No Ann and John. No Cindy Wine.

:D HaHa!! GREAT PREDICTION! "Pidge" starts on KLU Monday morning. Perhaps you can help us with some stock picks next or tell us who will win the SuperBowl, so we can all cash in on your keen intuition! LOL

Ha... Stay Tuned makes a good funny, but I think that Pigeon was the exception to the "roddy rule". Anyone who heard the three-hour love-in scott had on-air a few weeks ago with Pigeon could tell that he has a serious man-crush happening over there. Had Pigeon turned him down, we would indeed be hearing someone we don't know on mornings, someone that roddy could "mold" (i.e. make to sound just like him).

Having said all that, that's just inside-radio BS... the bottom line is that the station sounds awfully good right now and come Monday I expect it will be even better.
