Ch - Ch - Changes at WRHL Again?

So, a new morning show at WRHL - Bruce Enrietto is gone? And, whatever happened to the afternoon guy Dan? I thought he was pretty good.

Former 101QFL PD Greg Saunders is the new man in the morning with the "Mighty Mighty Morning Show." ??? What does that mean... and what is a prize page???

www.wrhl.net.

Good luck to Greg... He was always a class act at QFL and will do the same for WRHl... CC

Sounds like a good move. WRHL was not as good as when Jeremiah Beck was there.

I'll take the opportunity to respond to these inquires. When I arrived a WRHL, decisions were made to take the stations in a new direction. Dan came on board to help with this project. When it became apparent that, for whatever reason, these plans were not going to come to fruition; Dan then I decided to sever our relationship with Rochelle Broadcasting.

Greg is a good guy. His show will be different from mine. That's good. The industry needs more people willing to put their stamp on things. He is talented and will serve the Rochelle area well. Give him a chance.

Jeremiah Beck was an idiot. The station has been a train wreck for years and it hasn't gotten any better or worse since he left. From where I sit it looks like he made a mess and Bruce didn't want to clean it up.

Maybe Greg's got what it takes.

Jeremiah put a lot of blood sweat & tears into both the AM and FM stations... To you it may have been a train wreck, but to those in Rochelle it is their local voice... I have never had the chance to meet Bruce, but from the sounds of it just like with Jeremiah he was never given the tools to really make RHL the station it should have been... Good luck Bruce where ever your next gig lands you... CC

What are you some kind of WRHL apologist? There's a lot of people who can put blood sweat and tears and still not know what they're doing.

And, you can't listen to that station, the news, the programming, and not know that its not even close to being what it should be.

I have my doubts about Greg too, judging by the "World's Easiest Game." Can anyone save small market local radio?

How about you CC? What have you programmed lately?

Your are right Frog it has been eight years since I have had a paid radio gig... Now on to the point... You could have the worlds best PD come in and run the show, but in the world of small market radio the owner still calls the shots no matter what kind of top dog PD he or she may be... If Jeremiah were given the tools and support needed I think you would have got the WRHL you are talking about... JB did the best with what he had which believe me Frog that was very little!!! As for Greg give him a chance then pass judgement... As for an apologist i'll let you decide... CC
