Hmmmmmm According to the FCC website WUSD does not have a permit for a Aux. Transmitter, Only WESP does, to broadcast on the 1 k from the studio. So they must be using it illegaly for USD.

Whoops ........ had no idea of your "endowment"/"fortune" there Sir, congratulations. Here's a suggestion, get '76 to do a bit where he talks to Rocky (alluding to your "gift") and send to you to use in sweepers/liners/promos.

Supposedly if that was legal, that could be the least of their worries-possibly the biggest worry could come from OSHA. The owners of the motel, the employees of the motel and people who stay at the motel could be receiving RF radiation because of the close proximity to the bays of the antenna.

Those rooms are right next to the antenna, pretty close to eye level.

Check into one those rooms and stay a couple of days. You'll be glowing when you leave.
 
Been on vacation for 2 weeks back home in Green Bay.

As you may know, I don't work for TRP anymore...but

PNUT, I seriously doubt (after line-loss and the .8db gain) the 900 watts ERP would seriously make anyone glow.

Before my exit we had a new 8 Bay Dielectric Antenna and a LOT of tower work on the table for the WUSD tower in Geneva. I'm sure they 'off-air' recently is 100% due to the mile long list of shit to fix and install.

SFLBOY - CALL ME SO I CAN HELP YOU FIX THE AUBURN BROADCASTS! Every time ESPN fires a closure it cuts off the Auburn game! I listened all the way from Troy to:

"CHRIS TODD DROPS BACK...AIRS IT OUT DEEEP/HI THIS IS COLIN COWHEARD WITH ESPN RADIO JOIN ME WEEKDAYS AFTER MIKE & MIKE"

Amen to Dothan Radio's last comment. I was trying (and I do mean trying) to listen to the AU game tonight as well, and after about 10 minutes of losing my mind I gave up.

Actually it is 50.62 Feet to the nearest Hotel Rooms from the tower and you can not tell me that it would not be dangerous the tower is 95.14 feet tall with the bays mounted at approx. 85 feet. Amazingly when all this was metioned earlier in the thread the AUX. Transmitter was silenced therefore kickin was off the air. Did the FCC boys read this thread and give TRP a slap on the wrist for using it illegaly?
