CHA CHA CHA CHA CHANGES at KZON

no i dont have any breakdowns or whatever i do though listen to them and not the old farts at kzon...im just giving my opinion because im a listener. I just think that Da Nutz are funnier, more entertaining, younger, and have a better morning show =) um...do u happen to work at kzon and are just mad cause i posted that i like the morning show Power has more than a station you like? I believe most people here in the valley tend to stick with Power because Power has always been there playing hip hop and has been there for its listeners even though there were some months that it didnt show that haha im just writing for the hell of it now! good night!!!

Would this line-up work in Phoenix?
6-10 Kidd Kraddick in the morning
10-3 Minnie Salas
3-7 George McFly
7-12 Mo' Bouce

Well let me let some in.. Mc Fly, is back in Denver...

Kidd Kraddick has driven a few morning producers bonkers to the point where they have left for other stations. I have read 3 job ads this week all from different stations. "Can you tolerate Kidd Kraddick?"

Minnie & Mo might not be too bad.. But now we are missing Jack.

Saying that Da Nutz grabbed Kid and Ruben and mopped the floor with them doesn't sound like an opinion. It sounded like you were claiming they whooped them in ratings, which isn't true. Saying Da Nutz are funnier etc. is your opinion and of course you have the right to your opinion. I agreed and said that I too think Da Nutz are funny. You are right, they do sound younger (by the way Da Nutz are in their 30s as are Kid and Ruben). Oh and no I don't work for kzon. Just thought with all the opinions being thrown around, people might want to know the facts. Good night ;)

In regards to McFly, we all know that life, and especially radio, is subject to change... a lot of change! I don't think McFly would stick around Denver if he could land a better gig in a bigger market like Phoenix. As for your Kidd Kraddick comment; I doesn't matter how happy his producers are or are not that work for him. That's not what's important. What matters is whether the show is relevant to the community and from all indicators in many markets it seems that he is. You could bring him in on satellite and still do better than what is on KZON right now. I bet Kraddick isn't doing "car wash" radio. Minnie and Mo are the perfect blend of recognition and excitement. The station really veered hard left towards the "Yo Yo Yo Fa Shizzle" hip hop sound that it killed them. Their launch screamed "we're going after Kiss" and then they busted out with the lids turned sideways, all pictures showing DJs hold'n "IT" down flashing peace signs and language worthy of busting out your "Hip Hop-tionary - Dictionary of Hip Hop Terminology just to follow the DJ talk. WOW talk about missing the mark!
