Changes at DBC Greensboro

wheeler??? Built?? How about dismantled what was a solid rock station on 92. The format became the floor mat, a pissed on puddle of 250 songs. How many times can a listener hear to All Along the Watchtower? or Aerosmith's Janie's Got a Gun or a couple of Beatle songs. If wheeler is gone, it is about damn time. Amberg, Bunch and Ronny. Krantz, love him or hate him, he compelled people to listen. Bring back personalities on rock 92 right now they can bite my ass
How many classic rock stations play Nickelback?

As anyone who has a clue can see, classic rock evolves as years go by. Most classic rock stations do dip into the early 2000s. 2001 was 12 years ago. There were not a lot of rock hits with longevity that fit the classic rock format from that time period. Basically from that time in 2001, it is basically, Three Doors Down Songs, Nickelback Rock Hits that crossed over, Blurry & Drift & Die from Puddle Of Mudd, and a couple of crossover Staind songs. Even Rush songs from that time had no longevity. I would love to hear Secret Touch again, however doubt it will happen.

I'm with goatboy. I worked at Dick broadcasting a very long time and saw good people shredded and kicked to the curb too many times. Character assassination? please. How about personal ruin? Contracts where those who had non-compete clauses, held to the very letter by wheeler. Mr. Allen Dick is a fine man, always very kind to me. Mr. Jamey Kerr, also an excellent employee and a kind man to me. Mr. Doug McKnight, a LOYAL team player if there ever was one. Those of you readers who never worked at 2641-B or 192, please just shut up.

Bruce got what he had coming,

The sales staff at DBC is unimaginative and lazy. They are all in for a rude awakening. Harlow is a smart guy and he will turn it around with or without the current staff if they can't get on board.

Great move by DBC but more need to happen in rapid succession to make a difference

Looks like Long time GM Bruce Wheeler set to leave DBC Broadcasting I hear he has Representation. They can't keep anything quite over there. Will Jennifer Hart take over? The staff hates her!

Now that the two big money makers are out Murphy and Wheeler , New GM Dick Harlow is focusing on sales. Bizarre signs saying 472 posted all over the station meaning monthly sales numbers. Next to go sales Manager Jennifer Hart. As an insider I can tell you long timer Angie Dolan is leaving on her own. Next dismantling Rock 92,high earners. The rest are making no money and will most likely stay. Get the balance sheet right and then Sale!
