When you consider Chuck has been there for almost 20 years,it's a remarkable achievement in this market. He probably is tired and doesn't want to spend the remainder of his life behind a microphone. Ron made the same type of decision and in this age of notables like Ron in radio,in TV Dan,Tom,Ted,the "notables" are retiring. It's quite an acomplishment of doing what you love for 45 years especially in major markets. John Summers(and I apologize for leaving it out early)is refreshing to listen to. He's unpretenous, entertaining, plus knowledgable.Larry Dixon is a nice guy,but he seemed out of place at KLUV.Sharpe is very good, and has the energy to sustain and build an audience.
Jody as I pointed out before has put the morning show on a shakedown cruise. Expect him to change support personnel as the year goes on. That is the priority of most morning show hosts, the search for chemistry.
